i'm too lazy to take figure out what's up with my camera battery that won't charge so i'm stealing someone else's pictures of my little buddy:

sutton is starting to get into this "no! my mommy!" thing any time he sees a baby within ten feet of me...but little william he'll actually let me hold and loves to be around :) precious.

sutton is cracking me up these days with all his new words! just about anything you say he will try to repeat. today he said all of his previous class teacher's names (naomi, bobby and marguette)! some of his words still need mommy's translation. take, for instance, the following examples:

"booo eerio" = pink yogurt cheerios, but blue (or "booo") is sutton's favorite color to say, though most things are starting to become "yeyo" = yellow
"dapbee" = tractor
"dane" = crane
"no" = airplane, it's been this way for months! i guess he won't be a 30 year old man calling airplanes "no's", so I'm not too worried
"teedee" = tilly, our dog
"ahside" = outside, hey-he's pretty close
"meemo" = nemo
"chomp chomp" while claping his hands up and down = please take me to the zoo, mommy, so i can see the alligators :)
acting like he's blowing out candles = i want ice cream (he still remembers we bought chris an ice cream birthday cake at baskin robbins!)

i had no idea that being a mommy would require me to learn a second language!

i love my little guy so much that everyday, twice a day, we take a detour by school to go see the "danes and dapbees" at the nearby construction site. makes my heart leap to see how much that little guy loves life and exploring this great big world he's in :)
