We awoke to a much anticipated winterwonder land this morning! Okay, so it was less than an inch (that's what we get for a week of panic leading up to the event), but it was enough to build a "Frosty the Snowman" per Sutton's request and to throw a few snowballs before it was off to school and work with frozen hands and faces.
When I got Sutton out of bed this morning and told him it had snowed he immediately told me of his plans to build a "Frosty the Snowman" with a corncob pipe and a button nose and eyes and a hat ("Frosty" has been his favorite song to sing since Thanksgiving). We managed to gather up enough snow for this little guy...with his Memphis Redbirds hat and a carrot nose and two eyes made out of chocolate chips. Using tricky photography our 6" little guy can look as big as a house!
Tilly, of course, is always a big fan of snow! This was her first year to endure snowball peltings from a giggling toddler, though ;)
Hope everyone's new year is off to a great start! Our little home couldn't be happier :)
